Dustin Scott MA, PLPC
Dustin is under the supervision of Melissa Brengle. Dustin works with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and trauma. Dustin’s previous experience working in emergency rooms has helped him be able to quickly identify his clients’ strengths and needs and set obtainable goals. While he is quick to get his clients results, Dustin also understands the importance of providing comfort and support in addition to skill-building.
Dustin also provides couples counseling and marriage counseling. If you and your partner are experiencing problems with infidelity or lack of trust or you need to build better communication skills and conflict resolution skills, Dustin is here to help you get your relationship from where it is to where you dream it could be.
Dustin typically uses Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. However, he will modify his approach to best fit his clients’ needs, which includes using mindfulness, meditation, and other DBT skills. Dustin enjoys helping his clients gain new perspective and strategize with them about solutions that will work. Dustin says, “I believe it is important to help my clients gain new perspective and empower them to achieve their own goals.”
Dustin has afternoon and evening hours in our Farmington office.
